The Truth (About them, because there's two sides to every story)

A teenage girl

too much of a hopeless romantic

another night she'll cry herself to sleep

too many failed attempts

she wants to give up

but he could be the one

she's fallen head over heels

for a guy who's smile

doesn't reach his eyes

she has to see him to night

but he's not ready for the truth

a teenage boy

too much of a player

he doesn't quite understand

how his simple smile can put an end to her regrets

she couldn't be the one

she's too sweet for him

he only wants to be good friends

he has to see her tonight

but she's not ready for the truth.
