Unblemished

I am not my weight

I am not my shoe size

I am not the brightness of my teeth

Nor the clearness of my skin

I am not the stretch mark on my thigh

Or my chipped tooth

I am a luminescent smile

On a rainy day

I am a loud laugh

In a quiet room

I am a hug when you need it

And a compliment just because

I am a nap listening to a rain shower

And a good book on Sunday

I am not the definition

I am not hers or his

Or yours

I am my own in this world

Of beautiful, flawless creatures
