Unknown beauty

1 Peter 3:3-4 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Let your beauty not be external—the braiding of hair and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes— 4 but the inner person of the heart, the lasting beauty of a gentle and tranquil spirit, which is precious in God’s sight.

Unknown beauty

How can the unknown be so attractive and the mysterious trigger thought?

Can a beautiful package contain some poisonous fruit?

Should we not be attentive and study the content we bought?

Before our life is in wreckage destroyed and takes away the good

Does a beautiful smile hide at times a poisonous tongue?

Are not attractive teeth sometimes a vault to the unknown?

Is life than a gamble that often is gently prolonged?

Because of the fear to discover that one's soul is overgrown

Does a beautiful body at times carry a deadly disease?

Is it worth the trouble to seek satisfaction for a moment?

Maybe the great purpose of it all is never self to please

And so to be rewarded through the everlasting “Atonement”
