wake up

Wake up you mess

it’s time to see the morning

You did your best

But you never saw the warning

You know they don’t love you

So why are you trying

You know they can’t love you

So why are you crying

Your tear drops turn to rivers

But they can’t wash out the shivers

Your shaking turns to quaking

But beneath it all you’re breaking

The darkness fades to nothing

And you’re longing to feel something

But you’ll never know the light

So give up and end the fighting

You know they don’t want you

So why are you even breathing

You know they don’t see you

And so you start believing

You tried your best

But it wasn’t enough

It’s never enough

Why aren’t I enough?

Wake up you said

At the break of morning

Goodbye my friend

Don’t pretend that you are mourning
