We are all the same

There was once a story I read of a young couple of rebels;

The boy who's skin was red as tomatoes

and the girls who's skin was plain and pure as paper.

Through their differences they still loved each other with such passion.

A young boy from her side of life started to bleed.

That day they realized something as well as we should, we all bleed.. we all are red inside.

We are all the same. No matter race or accent or height or weight we are all the same.

The lives of others doesn't really matter either.

A famous or rich person was born the same exact way as a poor or middle class person.

It shouldn't and doesn't matter how much money you make because we all go in the same box in the end

the only difference is one might have satin and lace yet the other has cushions.

There is always talk of world peace and the problems of wars and disagreements

If only people realized that before they strike at their enemy

That their enemy bleeds the same blood, fights the same fight and feels the same feelings

If we only took the chance to let everyone in the world experience human connection despite differences

Then we might achieve the goal

If only we all realized that if we hurt others we evidently hurt ourselves.

We all make decisions on spur of the moment actions and reactions and never think of consequences till after

We all should celebrate our differences which make us unique

The past has shown many gruesome accounts of bigotry and prejudice and injustice but to this day

We do nothing to change or prevent these things from happening

Everyone in this world has a choice when they wake up in the morning

They can choose to support everyone and love everyone as themselves

Or they can let hatred and indifference take over their hearts

Unfortunately the second choice is taken too much too often if you ask me
