What does writing mean to me?
It’s a symbol of me being free.
When a bird starts to fly,
You don’t ever ask why.
So when I begin to write,
You don’t need to question my flight.
Feelings are made through words.
Loneliness although I’m amongst herds.
Laughter coming right after pain.
Dry pages becoming wet from the rain.
My writing tells stories.
Good versus evil, triumphs over glories.
My writing is about expression.
Drama, victory. Declination, depression.
I write so people could understand.
I can’t say what’s wrong but you’ll know what’s at hand.
Writing means escaping.
Leaving what’s unnecessary, no “it’s all for the taking”
Writing is written art.
No actual pictures. Just the ones you see in your heart.
Writing is my life.
It helped me cope with my difficulty and strife.
I write so I can entertain.
My writing shows people the antics inside my brain.
The only way I can explain what words can give
Is by saying I write to live.
