When I first met you

When I first met you, I was cliched

With tropes and trie beliefs

Which were only platitudes

Of the firends who gave me grief

About being happy.

But with you I feel free unlike the

Birds that fly with their flimsy flock

Buying into the lies the tell

Oh they wish they could take stock

About being happy.

Instead it's a freedom of my shackled

Ideas. I can be the sincere and sweet guy

I've never tried to be until I met you

And now I'm not so stressed and uncertain

About being happy.
