White & Black

Kindness and fakeness run together

Here I am, take what you will

I meet masks as fickle as Michigan weather

But here, the forecast is still

The gleam of your teeth blinds me

Your motives, white and pure

If my body is taken by the sea

You would give an arm, oh sure

But if I fall into your path of success

I would feel sneakers upon my back

Hoped for the Samaritan, but I'm not that blessed

When you want something, your heart is jet black
