Why I Write

Location

Unspoken words trapped in a yarn of introspection.

I cease to try to make a noise,

Yet I hand over my written phrases.

With every intricate word, with every written letter

I may leave this world but not my thoughts.

Far beyond my imagination

Someone will read and sympathize with them

Understand and take it upon them to fathom other realities.

I cease to scream

Yet I hold the power of David against Goliath.

In my small hand strong words, thought out words, began to form

They might not mean much now,

But years from now it will create or cease to create

It will inspire or cease to inspire

And it will produce change, in a mundane world.

I write for my freedom of mind

I write for the future

And I write for those who don’t want to listen.

I write to liberate the thoughts that are trapped within my introspection.
