Without a Path

What do you get when you have a full past but no future?
You have all the means but none of the talent.
You see your peers succeeding and compare yourself  to them
Failure is all you think
If your lucky you have moments of ignorant bliss that allow you to see the world's beauty.
Then you remember the truth
You have added no beauty to this world
You are still you
A member of the world that has nothing
You are average
But being average gets you nowhere.
All an average person can to breath, sleep, and eat,
What else can you do?
Art, science, literature, mathematics, finances, sports, leadership, trivia, reasoning?
I am not good at any of these things.
I fail as a human being
Our species are suppose to do great things.
But I've done nothing.
I've learned, studied, seen, conversed, experienced...
But have not gleamed a way to a proper future,
And with no future, I might as well have no past.

As a college student I am constantly worried about whether or not I am on the right path.
