What does love mean?
Love means you mess up big time,
and she hugs you
then hands you a broom and says "clean it up".
Love means you look great but only together
because neither of you quite understands
what the other sees in you.
Love means it's okay, sometimes,
to be sad because after all
you wouldn't be sad if she didn't matter, but she does.
Love means you say "when I win the lottery"
since the alternative is missing her,
and you just aren't willing to accept that.
Love means never having to say you're sorry
but doing it anyway
because you want to see her smile again.
