Writing is awesome

I write because it feels right

When I feel as though I have nothing left

And everything is wrong- I write

Writng takes me away

Farther than far, farther than Earth

Where nothing else matters

My problems melt away, my premonions give way, truthfully everyting seems okay

When I write

Just me, my pen, some paper, and my thoughts

As murky as lake water

But my vision

As clear as Montana skies

And by the time I've cleared the dark waters and found light

I feel awesome.
