How to choose?

And the theme?

Life, death, spring, the ocean,

Nothing too common, nothing too bizarre

Love, leaving, sadness, grieving

Nothing too heavy, nothing too light

No, that’s too hard

No, that sounds stupid

No, nothing rhymes with that word

How can I write the best poem?

I can’t.

I can only write what I

Have,

Am,

Want,

Miss,

Will become.

And it’ll be good enough.
