You Inspire Me

What if I told you, that You inspire me?

I see You sitting next to the kid that has no friends

I notice how you hold the door for people

We need more people like you in the world

The type that says "it's not about me, it's about us"

These people are one in a million nowadays

As a society we have changed

Opening a door for a woman is now "old fashioned"

We are encouraged to chase our dreams even if it means leaving everyone behind

Whatever it takes to get wealthy we'll do it.

You asked, "what inspires me?"

Well it's simple, seeing someone help their neighbor

Someone pick their enemy up off the ground

Someone who turns the other cheek even when they've been wronged

People like this are one in a million

But I can't believe I found one

And that's why You inspire Me
