You see...

Life is like a flower:

Some choose to appreciate it,

While others takes its beauty for granted.

You see, it isn’t about the other flowers

Or what they may look like.

I know from the inside out that I’m

FLAWLESS!

I lend a hand to whomever is in need.

I reach out to those who may not have

The blessings that I do.

You see, I am known all throughout town,

For my roots run deep in my community

And I am there to serve them.

They have given me so much

And I give whatever I can back to them

From my church to the animal shelter

I make time to assist others.

And you see, this is why I am flawless.

I overlook my own needs and wants

In order to serve others.

Just like a perfectly flawless flower,

I grew, not for others, but myself.

Because I am capable of so much.

Flawless is defined

Not always perfection or without fault,

But sometimes in the beauty and hope

I can give others.
