You want change?

I wish upon the world to understand that in every person comes a little prejudice.  I know that my state has a prejudice against people of different color than white,I know for I am one. But I do not blame the entire race nor specific individuals as many are doing now.  White hate is real. Africa American hate is real. Hispanic hate is real. Canadian hate is real. Asian hate is real. Middle Eastern hate is real. European hate is real. Latin American hate is real.  I understand that even some people possess hate on me,when I have done no wrong to them. But we must all recognize that these prejudices we all possess, make up society, make up us.  So if we want change we have to start it.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
Our world

“Prejudices, it is well known, are most difficult to eradicate from the heart whose soil has never been loosened or fertilised by education: they grow there, firm as weeds among stones.”
