Cosmic Imagination

For every wish you make

It costs you a little bit of hope

Once hope is lost...

You’re left with only you

So you lay in bed and stare up at the ceiling

Eyes red as you follow the cosmic waves of smoke in the air

Your mind now like flat water with no reflection

The air grows stiff

The bed gets warmer

But your mind stays frozen

The heart can only take so much

The tears begin to fall

The smoke begins to fade

Pressure is now sitting on your chest

Slowly you lean up from the pit of your imagination

You see the moon full and bright

And you remember your mother

Cause staring at the moon is a sign

That she is looking at it too
