Double Standards

Discrimination.

This nation.

No matter the class or station.

Unjust.

Unfair.

How I feel with this load I bear.

Prude.

Jesus Freak.

The labels they stick on me.

See, society doesn't just withhold the Jew or the Gay from America's official Melting Pot recipe

I bear the rejection of another degree

I am called out

stalled out

left to bleed while they just leave.

My belief in God is my countercultural viewpoint.

The cross I wear is the cross I bear.

On it I am crucified.

Murdered with words and hung on the media's trees for all to see

So be careful when you judge.

I'm a person too.

Just because my beliefs won't budge.

Doesn't mean I deserve this....cruel.
