Glutton For Success

I shall crave

A sandwich,

With layers of flavor.

But I’M NOT HUNGRY.

To remember something that’s good,

The taste of a familiar scenery,

The meaning of being alive,

You must first have the appetite.

But I’M NOT HUNGRY.

Something is missing

The drive to follow your passion,

Rather than satisfying the meaningless

But I’M NOT HUNGRY.

To decide the next meal,

In order to make it so

First I must be able to see it,

Whether tasteful or tasteless, a sandwich

I shall eat,

Hunger is a motivator,

Rather being a empty void.

You give that favor purpose.

To find the reason you crave success.

But will you choose to eat?
