How is One to Survive?

Tue, 11/26/2013 - 14:07 -- mermer

It's cold; hard winter but there's blazing heat

The passion of young love feels so alive,

But when love fades and begins to retreat

How, in loneliness is one to survive?

When a heart breaks things may seem like it's lost

The cold seems colder, the wind seems harsher

Your heart seems so desolate it’s like frost,

But the end of the tunnel is lighter.

Even when you feel depressed and lonely,

Just know that rainbows come after the storm.

So smile even if it’s bologna,

Happiness will once again become norm.

To survive the loneliness you must find

That happiness can be found in your mind.
