I Could Have Loved You

Sat, 08/13/2016 - 19:28 -- krupa_3

I hate that you left me.
I hate that you lied.
I hate when you kissed me,
and then said goodbye.

I hate how you said,
“I love you” that day.
Why was I misled?
Why didn’t you stay?

I hate that I miss you.
I hate how I know,
our love was not true,
so you had to let me go.

I hate that you’re okay.
I hate that I’m in pain.
It’s just another day,
of this heartache’s gain.

I know you don’t want me.
I know that we’re through,
but one day you will see,
that I could have loved you.
