If Only We Were Birds

This is all really scary if you think of it

The fact that soon the jail you go to everyday

That you've gone to everyday

For tweleve years

Is going to end

And then you are free

 But are you really?

Free.

A world where there is no schedule and

"Life happens"

You are no longer sheilded from the danger

Perhaps that why birds are afraid to fly at first

To leave their nest

Because they know once they do

They must learn to fend for themselves

And cannot go back

But birds are in a way lucky

Because they get to fly away from the life they are in

The only stress is survvial for them and their future young

No bills, careers, war, poverty, social discrimnation

Nothing we worry about

Once they are free

They really are.
