An Irish Expression

There's something about
Expressing an art
through the use of your body
with your arms at your side.

The only movement you see
is the full range of motion
Articulated from her legs
When she's confident and alone.

Otherwise, she only uses her arms
to grab another's hand
and embody the rhythm together
for a powerful display of tradition.

The tempo varies with her movements,
Organizing footwork and design
into a marvelous masterpiece
in only 16 counts per step.

No matter what shoes she wears,
No matter dressed as class or solo,
No matter beginner or champion,
She dances with every ounce of passion
from the moment she steps onto the stage
to the moment she leaves the judges smiling behind her.
