Liar's Palace

I've built up such a liar's palace

out of what I do and don't, should and shouldn't feel
That I have lost all track
of which of these windows is painted and which is real
    I can't quite ever tell
if my thoughts, emotions are just what they are, straightforward, simple, true
Or if, through internalized onus and method acting
I've conned myself into believing that believing's what I do
    This poem is about:
    Me

    The mind is wonderful .....

it allows you to handle your boat well or lose yourself and / or build fake palaces and then lose yourself in them ...... mental flying is wonderful.

An interesting perspective- thoughtful and philosophical.
