No Knight Needed

A knight in shining armor on a white horse

I hope he falls off

I'm glad your not my knight

You wouldn't look good in tights

I'd rather you be in your regular clothes

You don't look like you role play a lot

Maybe you can keep the horse

But he has to be a different color

I wouldn't want you holding a sword

Who knows how much trouble you'd get in

You couldn't be a prince

Because I don't want to be a princess

I'd rather have you be you

Though you do annoy me at times

I don't care about a prince, knight, or supernatural love

Besides that's too complicated and cliche

I just want you to be my other half

Though we'd drive each other insane

Just you and me

And maybe a few animals

Against the world

I doubt they would care about us

Forever

Or as long as we live at least
