STOCK SHOTS

Location

Hunting down pictures of racial

divides the colors into flesh pantones

royalty free shots watermarked

with logos of the man whipping across

eyes and mouths of models making

believe, real skins unfreckled, unpot

marked, unoiled, unscabbed, unpuffed,

ungaunt populate a mosaic light box

like the bowel of a slaveship in cross

hairs of marketing masters hoarding

spoils of images bound to bound

in their stereotyped sights

where the world of colors

melts into perfect frames

of imperfect white.
