The Time of a Human

The Time of a Human

by: Linda Oostendorp

Being a human means so much time to waste, yet not to waste.
With an average lifespan of 80 years we have lots of time to think.
How to live and how to die in grace.

The children too young to understand their limited freedom,
The teenagers taking their freedom into their own hands.
And adults near the end of their 'season'.

But do not despair for there is good news to this sad thought.
Perhaps we do not merely end as some believe.
There could be a light at the end of the tunnel, but would it be a wish for nought?
