Walls

In my own arms I AM safe and sound

Free to explore, free from all bounds

In the past I built walls around

And the insecurities kept weighing me down

Trying to fly but my feet couldnt lift off the ground

Every time I felt up, the walls pulled me

When I had a smile it soon turned to a frown

Crying out for help yet I didnt make a sound

Then love came in and knocked it all down

A fresh new Start

A new perspective

A change of Heart

Creating my life like I AM living art

Everything has a time to end and a time to start

You want to enjoy life, then play your part

You'd invest in yourself if you were smart

Your whole life changes once you open your HEART
