you are love.

you are love,

love is you,

simply existing

smiling eyes glistening with delight,

lips curled into a smile, tight

soft laughter, oh so pleasant

the loneliness of the cold winter,

oh, how it stings, much like a splinter

but there you are in all your glory

you are love,

love is you,

simply existing

drops of rain

so cold it burns—the pain!

with open arms, there you are

like a golden sun

you are there and the rain is done

it all goes away, the world

you are love,

love is you,

simply existing

no, it does not last long,

but i know it is not wrong

nothing is, anymore

drunk with emotions, i am with you

i may be love too

because with you, anything is possible

you are love,

love is you,

simply existing
