Suddenly, I was awakened. The fear of the unknown engulfed me. It hit me. The flood was here. The water at the door step stared me in the face; Urging me to breakdown and let the fear flood in.  
Pitter patter of the rain on my head Sends the fears straight to bed,  In the things gone unsaid.    And the crackle of the thunder Sending all the pain asunder Taking respite in the clouds

*This poem is modelled after "Tyger, Tyger" by William Blake, and was written in response to the flooding in my home state of Colorado. Still over 600 people missing, and the flood waters are just starting to recede.   Flood
